Yesterday Salman Khan took everyone by surprise and sent the media in a frenzy when he announced his next project Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The film will be helmed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and will release on Eid 2021. While there is still some time for the film to go on floors, news and details about the film has started coming in, the most recent being that Kriti Sanon has been cast opposite Salman.
An entertainment portal reported that Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will introduce a fresh new pair that of Salman and Kriti. While details about the film’s plot are still under wraps this fresh bit of news has already created ripples amongst the fans. With Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Salman has already blocked his favoured Eid weekend and any other film will think twice before heading for a clash at the box office with him.

Salman’s next upcoming film is Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai that is slated for Eid 2020 release. He stars opposite Disha Patani in the film. The film is directed by Prabhudheva and also stars Randeep Hooda.
On the other hand, Kriti was last seen in Farhad’s directorial Housefull 4 opposite Akshay Kumar. The film was a multi-starrer and featured Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde. It was also produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his Nadiadwala Grandsons Entertainment production banner.
