The trailer of Love Aaj Kal released today and it has been trending ever since it was released. The film stars Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan in the lead and is a remake of Saif Ali Khan’s and Deepika Padukone’s hit 2009 film. However, the film received a mixed response from the netizens today as many saw it as an opportunity to create epic memes. Sara’s and Kartik’s dialogues from the trailer have been turned into fodder for several memes.
Sara’s dialogue, “Tum mujhe tang karne lage ho”, got a separate fan base, while Kartik’s emotional dialogue, “Aana toh puri tarah aana ya aana hi mat,” was given a hilarious twist tying it up with office life, pay day and even bowel movements. Love Aaj Kal is directed by Imtiaz Ali who also helmed the original film. It also stars debutante Arushi Sharma and Randeep Hooda. Check out some of the memes lighting up the internet today.
