Shabana Azmi, who was injured in a road accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway earlier today and was admitted to MGM Hospital in Panvel, has been shifted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for further treatment.
According to our sources, Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi have just reached Mumbai and she has been admitted to the 5th-floor room next to ICU. She has breathing problems and is semi-conscious. However, she spoke with her brother Baba Azmi and husband Javed Akhtar.

She is under the treatment of Dr.Yuvaraja. Several Bollywood celebs like Varun Dhawan, Vikrant Massey, Neena Gupta, Hansal Mehta as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Nirupam sent their prayers for the actress’s speedy recovery.
