Shraddha Kapoor is currently on a roll. With back-to-back blockbusters, the actress has her name written all over the industry. After a super successful year at the box-office in 2019 with Saaho and Chhichhore being multi-crore hits, Shraddha is all set to rule for years together. Now, as the actress is gearing up for the release of Street Dancer 3D, she is shooting for the third installment of Baaghi which is scheduled to release on March 6, this year. Amidst a busy schedule, the 32-year-old Ek Villain star has been roped in opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Luv Ranjan next. Talking about collaborating with Ranbir for the first time, Shraddha, in an interview with a media agency, told that she is super excited to work with the actor and believes that he is one of the best of the current generation. She further informed that she will begin preparing for the yet-to-be-titled film once Street Dancer 3D releases.
"I am doing Luv Ranjan's film with Ranbir Kapoor. I have loved Luv's films, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. I am super excited to be working with Ranbir. He is one of the best actors of our generation. I have loved his work. Nothing was offered to me earlier with Ranbir, I am looking forward to this film. I will begin some prep after the release of Street Dancer 3D," Shraddha told during the interview.
Speaking of the Luv directorial, reports suggested that Deepika Padukone will be paired opposite Ranbir, who is the actress's rumoured ex-boyfriend. Not just this, but it was also being said that Ajay Devgn will be a part of it too. However, it was then clarified that Ajay will be working with Luv on a different project. The to-be-announced film is directed and co-produced by Luv with Ankur Garg. It is scheduled to release on March 26, 2021.
Workwise, Shraddha is gearing up for Street Dancer 3D's release which is on January 24, 2020. It stars Varun Dhawan opposite her and is directed by Remo D'Souza. Baaghi 3, co-starring Tiger Shroff, will open at theatres on March 6, 2020. It is directed by Ahmed Khan. On the other hand, Ranbir is shooting for Shamshera with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The Yash Raj Films' venture will release on July 31, 2020. He will be seen with Alia Bhatt in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The release date of this Karan Johar production is yet to be disclosed.
