Kangana Ranaut to don the uniform of an Air Force Pilot in Ronnie Screwvala produced 'Tejas'

Kangana Ranaut is undoubtedly one of the finest actresses Bollywood has currently. With sheer hard work and talent, the 32-year-old actress has managed to find her foothold in cinema and has her name on every filmmaker's list. Now, as her film Panga has opened at the theatres and she is neck-deep busy shooting for the biopic of late Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa, Kangana has signed yet another project. The Queen star has signed the dotted lines for Ronnie Screwvala's next, titled Tejas wherein Kangana will don the uniform of an Air Force pilot. The film will be directed by Sarvesh Mewara and is said to go on floors in July this year. Talking about Tejas with a leading daily, Kangana told that she is fascinated with the Armed Forces since childhood and strongly feels about their heroism. 

“I’ve always wanted to play a soldier and have been fascinated with the Armed Forces since childhood. I’ve never held back my emotions for our jawans and spoken openly about how strongly I feel about their heroism. They keep our country secure and our people safe. So, I’m very happy to be doing this film,” Kangana told.

Adding further, Kangana informed that she will undergo intense training before Tejas goes on floors. The director has decided to bring professional trainers on board to train her. “I will undergo intense training before the shoot starts. My director has decided to get professional trainers on board,” Kangana added.

Kangana, in the interview, thanked Ronnie and Sarvesh for approaching her with the 'extraordinary script' and said donning the uniform will be one of the biggest highlights of her life. “I’m thankful to Ronnie sir and Sarvesh who have come to me with this extraordinary script that celebrates the heroism of our soldiers. Being in uniform will be one of the biggest highlights of my life,” Kangana concluded.
