Ranveer Singh with his team of actors and director Kabir Khan is in Chennai for the big launch of his film ’83. The event will see Kapil Dev’s winning team of 1983 World Cup meeting their on-screen counterparts.

During the event, Ranveer and Kabir both spoke about the impact the first World Cup win had not only on the Indian cricketers but on the entire psyche of the nation. Watch them talk about why this film was needed to be made.
