Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol made a forgettable debut in Bollywood with his father's directorial Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas last year. Now according to a column in a magazine, Karan is apparently being “re-groomed” for a second shot. What's more? Sunny's younger son Rajvir and Bobby Deol's son Aryaman are also being trained to become actors and join showbiz.
“There is talk that Bobby has had ‘casual conversations’ with Abbas-Mustan and Ramesh Taurani about a possible debut film for Aryaman. Rajvir, meanwhile, who is likely to be launched first, may make his debut in a film produced under the home banner Vijayta Films and possibly directed by Sunny," the coloumn written by film journalist Rajeev Masand stated. Well, if that's true, we cannot wait for the new generation of Deols to carve their magic on the silver screen.
Meanwhile, it would be interesting to see if Karan will yet again be launched under Sunny's wings or the doting father will hire a talented young director to helm his sons’ projects just like he hired Imtiaz Ali to direct Socha Na Tha (2005) for cousin Abhay Deol.
Talking about Karan, he starred opposite debutante Sahher Bambba in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, which turned out to be a critical and commercial failure. On the other hand, Bobby earlier told a leading daily that he is sure Aryaman would want to become an actor one day.
