Salman Khan, on January 10, gave his fans a major surprise by announcing his next film. Titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, the superstar who is currently running busy with Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, booked Eid 2021 at the theatres, leaving everyone excited. While the film is yet to go on floors, speculations regarding the lead actress and other supporting actors are making headlines of late. As per reports of a leading daily, Salman who is frontlining Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali recommended his proteges, namely, Aayush Sharma, Sooraj Pancholi and Zaheer Iqbal for brief yet important roles. A source close to this Sajid Nadiadwala venture informed that Farhad Samji, the director, as well as the producer, agreed to this suggestion. The source further added that the trio will cross paths with Salman, just to end up helping him.
"While Salman leads the show, the film will have an ensemble cast. Director Farhad Samji was looking for relatively new faces for certain characters in the action-comedy. When Salman recommended Sooraj, Zaheer and Aayush for the parts, Farhad as well as producer Sajid Nadiadwala agreed that they fit the bill for small but crucial roles. The trio will be seen as three friends who cross paths with Salman's character and end up helping him. The Eid 2021 release is expected to roll mid-year," the source told.

Salman launched Sooraj, son of Aditya Pancholi and Zareena Wahab in Hero, co-starring Athiya Shetty in 2015. Later, Aayush was introduced to films by Salman who is the former's brother-in-law. He starred in Loveyatri with Warina Hussain in 2018. Zaheer made his debut with the Salman-backed Notebook in 2019.
Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is directed by Farhad and the story is by Sajid who is producing it under the banner Nadiadwala Grandsons. As per reports, Kriti Sanon will be paired opposite Salman.
