Vicky Kaushal to train in various Mixed Martial Arts for four months before filming Aditya Dhar's 'The Immortal Ashwatthama'?

After the success of Uri: The Surgical Strike, Vicky Kaushal is all set to reunite with director Aditya Dhar and producer Ronnie Screwvala for a period-war film titled The Immortal Ashwatthama. The film is based on the mythological character Ashwatthama and Vicky will play the lead role in it. For the unversed, Ashwatthama is Drona’s son and fought with the Kauravas against the Pandavas in the Kurukshetra War.

Now according to a report in a leading daily, Vicky will start shooting for the same after wrapping up Karan Johar’s historical-drama, Takht, which rolls mid-March. What's more? The actor will undergo prep for four months as he has some high-octane action sequences in the action-based sueprhero film. “Vicky will train in various Mixed Martial Arts, with focus on Krav Maga and Jujutsu. The horse-riding training for Takht will come in handy here too, while lessons in sword and spearfighting and archery are also on the agenda,” the daily quoted a source as saying.
