Sara Ali Khan’s and Kartik Aaryan’s fans were eagerly waiting for Valentine’s Day to watch their first film together Love Aaj Kal which is directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film had created quite a buzz because of its fresh pairing and the fact that Imtiaz has given hit romantic films like Jab We Met, Tamasha, Love Aaj Kal and Rockstar and is well-known to portray the complexities of relationships. However, to no avail, this new film of his falls flat on its face as neither the critics nor the audience are impressed.
The trailer had already elicited some very hilarious memes but now the film is getting a lot of bashing for its stale and confusing plot and the ham acting of Sara. Love Aaj Kal has left the audience fuming and exhausted over Imtiaz’s similar kind of story-telling. They have, in fact, used the insipid dialogues from the film to come out with memes. Sara’s dialogue from the film telling Kartik, ‘Tum Mujhe Tang Karne Lage Ho’ has found a place of honour ever since the trailer released and was used to pan the film.
