Kabir Khan's upcoming sports biopic based on former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev titled '83 has garnered the right amount of attention ever since its character posters released. While the storyline is highly interesting, the main highlight of the film remains to be the collaboration of real couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone who are playing reel husband-wife on celluloid for the first time after their wedding. This Kabir directorial will feature Deepika as Kapil's wife Romi Dev. Now, after unveiling the reel cricketers' posters on social media, the makers of '83, on Wednesday, drew curtains from the actress's look.
Deepika, on her Instagram, shared her look as Romi. The actress is seen sporting a short haircut. Dressed in a turtle neck black tee and a beige skirt, Deepika is an embodiment of grace, elegance and beauty. Holding Ranveer's hand and exchanging a smile, the two have truly brought alive the magic of the iconic couple.
'83 orbits around the historic victory of the Indian cricket team during the 1983 world cup. The Kabir Khan directorial is being presented by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment. It also features Tahir Raj Bhasin, Harrdy Sandhu, Nishant Dahiya, Dinker Sharma, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani and Ammy Virk. It is is co-produced by Madhu Mantena, Sajid Nadiadwala and Reliance Entertainment. The film is scheduled to release on April 10, 2020, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
