Bollywood's favourite and hit-machine Rohit Shetty is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action-thriller Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif and so are the fans of his films. Along with this, the filmmaker-cum-host of the television reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi will be seen in its tenth season which is kicking off from February 22, 2020. While Rohit is juggling work on all platforms, he will soon begin planning his next, which will be none other than Ajay Devgn's Singham 3. A while ago, buzz surrounding the third installment of the iconic cop thriller was doing the rounds and now, in an interview with a media agency, Rohit confirmed it to be in the pipeline very soon. The Simmba director told that after Sooryavanshi's turn, its time for Singham to come next.
"The next instalment in my cop universe will be Singham with Ajay. It's Singham's turn to come next," Rohit told.
Rohit, when asked whether a new cop will be introduced to his universe in Sooryavanshi, replied by saying no. He added that no new cop will be brought to light as he will then need to make a film on him immediately. "We are not bringing anyone this time. No cop is coming in Sooryavanshi because then I will have to make the film immediately," Rohit added.
The first installment of Singham starring Kajal Aggarwal with Ajay released in 2011. It was followed by Singham Returns with Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2014. Speaking of Sooryavanshi, the film is directed by Rohit and produced by him with Karan Johar and Akshay. The film revolves around Anti Terrorism Squad Chief Veer Sooryavanshi, who will tackle the evil-doers in his unique way. The film will feature Ajay's Singham and Ranveer Singh's Simmba in an epic climax. Sooryavanshi will release on March 25, 2020.
