The lovely and talented daughter of Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey, Ananya Panday is the current darling of Bollywood. The actress, who is just two films old, is on the wishlist of top filmmakers and it can safely be said that she is here to stay. Now, as Ananya is neck-deep busy shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar produced Khaali Peeli with Ishaan Khatter and will shortly begin working on Shakun Batra's next with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi, there is a piece of good news for all her fans. The 22-year-old starlet has signed her new project which is with the heartthrob of South cinema-Vijay Deverakonda. The yet-to-be-titled film will be directed by Puri Jagannath and will enjoy a pan-India release.
The Puri Jagannath not just marks Vijay's first Hindi language film but also Ananya's maiden tryst with a pan-India release. Confirming her participation in the action entertainer, the Student Of The Year 2 star shared pictures with Vijay, Puri and producer Charmme Kaur from the script-reading session.
Speaking of the Puri Jagannadh directorial, Karan Johar is the presenter and joint producer. The film will star Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Aali and Getup Srinu. In association with Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies and Puri Connects, the project will be jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme, Karan and Apoorva Mehta. The film will be released in Hindi along with other South Indian languages.
The current title of the film is said to be Fighter.
