Before becoming the Union Minister, Smriti Irani was a household name, all thanks to Ekta Kapoor's TV show Kyunki... Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The former actress had appeared on the first season of Koffee With Karan back in 2005. She was accompanied by Sakshi Tanwar, who rose to fame with her act as Parvati in another Ekta Kapoor show, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.
On Thursday, Smriti went down memory lane and dug out a photograph 15 years old with Karan and Sakshi on the Koffee couch. "POUT MIA alert Throwback to a time @karanjohar smiled in photos taken ... P.S—- notice how slim yours truly was totally blame the damn hampers for the weight gain," she captioned the picture as. Well, with both Tulsi and Parvati, we can understand why Karan smiled his way through the photo where the ladies can be seen wearing traditional sarees.
Meanwhile, Karan replied on her picture by saying, "Oh god!!!! That may have been the last time I smiled in a photograph!! and what was I wearing?????"
This isn't the first time when she has made use of the Throwback Thursday trend. In fact, her posts of Monday Blues and Flashback Fridays are also quite popular.
