Anubhav Sinha's Thappad starring Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati is a silent slap on society’s age-old belief that “Shaadi mein sab kuch chalta hain”. The film starts a debate on marriage and what one shouldn’t do to be in one, peacefully. More than a slap, the film talks about a relationship and what’s fair in it. The film also stars Kumud Mishra, Ratna Pathak Shah, Geetika Vidya, Tanvi Azmi, Dia Mirza and Maya Sarao. The film released yesterday and Dia posted a heartfelt note for Taapsee and team Thappad on Instagram.
The 38-year-old actor shared her glimpse from the movie along with a note that read, "Dearest Tapsee and Team Thappad, As this story makes its way into people's hearts from today, just wanted to say, YOU ARE AMAZING. For thinking, feeling, responding to and sharing something so basic. So necessary. So needed: Love, respect and honesty for one and all For being fearless and convinced by the honesty of the truth's that have compelled this narrative. Keep telling stories. Keep being you. All my love and gratitude, Dia."
