Southern superstar Mahesh Babu is not only popular in the south but also enjoys pan India recognition. His last Sankranthi release Sarileru Neekevvaru was a huge success across the country and once again cemented his place as one of the most loved actors of the country. While several southern actors have made a foray into Bollywood with Prabhas, Rana Dagubatti leading the pack, it looks like Mahesh is also going to make his big Hindi film debut soon. Reportedly, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala has approached Mahesh for an ensemble film that also features Ranveer Singh in the lead.
Reportedly, Nadiadwala is planning to make Mahesh a part of a popular franchise. If the reports are to be believed then the film is going to be directed by Rohit Shetty. However, there's no official confirmation about the said reports. Earlier, Ranveer and Mahesh shared screen space in a commercial for a cola brand. They both hit it off very well and even shared clippings from the advertisement on social media.
Many south stars like Ram Charan, Dulquer Salmaan, Dhanush have made their Bollywood debuts recently. Vijay Deverakonda is also stepping into Bollywood with a film opposite Ananya Panday. Let’s see whether Mahesh also comes onboard and agrees to step foot into B-town. However, in one of his earlier interactions, Mahesh has dais that he is not interested in doing Bollywood films but if the script impresses him he might change his opinion.
