Akshay Kumar plays the title role of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Veer Sooryavanshi, who heads the Anti-Terrorism Squad in Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi. The actor gets back to the action genre with the film but let's not forget, his comic timing his impeccable. Recently, in an interview, the actor was asked if he would like to do a crossover with Rohit, considering he is also known for his comic capers. To which he replied, "We have discussed comedies in the past. Anything can happen. About crossover, imagine Hera Pheri meeting Golmaal. Wouldn’t it be amazing to see characters from both films together?"
Well, if that turns out to be true someday, the audience would be excited than ever!
Talking of Hera Pheri 3, Akshay was also asked what's happening on that front, to which he quipped, "It all depends on my producer, Firoz Nadiadwala. Talks have been on since the last 14 years."
Interestingly, Akshay completes 30 years in the industry in 2020. When prodded if he still remembers his first day on the set, Akshay signed off by saying, "I had 103 temperature when I landed in Coimbatore, driving down to Ooty, to shoot for Saugandh. I had to perform a handstand, kick the villain and get kissed on the forehead by Rakhee ji who was playing my mother. My make-up man gave me some Ayurvedic medicine for the fever and I was fine. He is still working with me."
