Kartik Aaryan is the current heartthrob of the country. Called to be a handsome and versatile actor, the crush of the nation has been ruling hearts in the recent past. Kartik, after struggling for quite a few years, shot to fame and became a part of every top filmmaker's list after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Now, with two films in his kitty, he is amongst the busiest. As the 29-year-old is shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, reports suggest that he is in talks with Shashank Khaitan for his next.
The rumour got fuel when Kartik, before jetting off to Lucknow for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's shoot on Monday, visited Karan Johar's residence with Shashank in the evening hours. Shashank, who is a protege of Karan, has been toying around with his next directorial since his last release Dhadak starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter. Interestingly, this buzz came across at a time when the Badrinath Ki Dulhania director declared that his project with Varun Dhawan titled Mr.Lele has been put on the backburner for the time being owing to scheduling issues. The venture reportedly starred Janhvi and Bhumi Pednekar with Varun, but before an official confirmation came, it was postponed.
Well, with his plate full of films, it is interesting to see whether Kartik signs Shashank's next. Workwise, the actor will be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kiara Advani and Tabu, Dostana 2 with Janhvi and Lakshya and then in Om Raut's action-thriller.
