The nation is currently battling the outburst of a pandemic named Coronavirus. The virus first came into knowledge after China and its neighbouring countries got affected and soon, Coronavirus aka COVID-19 has gripped the whole world into its trap. While medical facilities are being multiplied each day, citizens are advised to not visit crowded places. Owing to this, not just trade and commerce, but the entertainment industry has also faced a major setback. The upcoming big-budget films have been postponed indefinitely and theatres are instruction to discontinue their operations, shoots of projects across the world have come to a halt. Amongst them is Kartik Aaryan's and Kiara Advani's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Kartik, Kiara and the team of the Anees Bazmee directorial were in Lucknow to complete a month-long schedule. However, owing to the outbreak of the pandemic, the makers took a call to cancel it for the time being, if reports are to be believed. The team is said to be making necessary arrangements for the crew to head back home safely. On Friday morning, Kartik returned to Mumbai and was clicked at the airport.

Speaking of the Coronavirus impact on the shoot of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik, on his Instagram, frequently shared pictures and videos wherein the members present on the set are wearing a protective mask. The actor also asked his fans and the citizens to take proper care of themselves.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the sequel of the 2007 release of the same name directed by Priyadarshan. It featured Vidya Balan, Akshay Kumar and Shiney Ahuja in central roles along with Ameesha Patel, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and others in important roles. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, apart from Kartik and Kiara, stars Tabu. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani and is scheduled to release on July 31, 2020.
