The coronavirus outbreak has left the entire world in a standstill. Although things are still under control in India, yet the government has issued precautionary measures and closed down schools, colleges, offices and places public gatherings. Taking the government’s cues the Indian film industry has also called a halt on all production and film shoots making the celebs keep to their homes in self-isolation.
While several celebs are taking to social media to share updates of how they are whiling away their time, Shilpa Shetty Kundra says she is spending the self-isolation in the most ‘selfish way’. The actress who is making a comeback to films after nine years told a leading daily that she is busy babysitting her son Viaan and newborn daughter Samisha.
She said, “I’m loving self-isolation. I have my baby at home along with my son. I worked 9 to 9 shifts everyday, including travel. This break is for your good health, so make the best of the family time! My role as a mother takes precedence over everything. I wanted time to myself because I was like, ‘I have a new baby, how will I manage?’ God has his special ways of working things around for you. This break unfortunately came at a time which isn’t a happy situation for people suffering from it. For me, it was a much needed break for my two kids.”
Well, isn’t that a great way of spending the social distancing and self-isolation brought on by the COVID-19 scare. Although the pandemic is severe and highly horrifying but it does have its perks that are getting to spend quality time with family and self.
