The coronavirus has impacted the entire world and unwittingly everyone has united against the deadly disease that is causing havoc. According to the Live Tracking Dashboard, a total of 244,523 cases have been confirmed worldwide. As of now, 194 cases are confirmed in India. Recently, four new cases of COVID-19 have been reported from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
As per our exclusive, Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor is the first celebrity to have contacted the virus, and reportedly three more people have been diagnosed. Kanika had flown down to Lucknow from London where she threw a lavish party attended by several bureaucrats, politicians and socialites. Kanika also took to social media to share the news that she has been tested positive for COROVID-19. Today, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje came forward to state that she and her son Dushyant have put themselves under quarantine as they came in contact with Kanika at the party in Lucknow.
While in Lucknow, I attended a dinner with my son Dushyant & his in-laws. Kanika, who has unfortunately tested positive for #Covid19 was also a guest.
As a matter of abundant caution, my son & I have immediately self-quarantined and we’re taking all necessary precautions.

Reportedly, UP Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh has also put himself under home isolation because he also met Kanika at the party. However, what has become an issue is the fact that Kanika’s father Rajiv Kapoor reportedly said that she attended not one but three parties after arriving in Lucknow from London.
While speaking to a news agency he said, “Six of us in our family are undergoing test today at 4pm. Kanika has attended three parties after her arrival. She came in contact with around 350-400 people in three parties. Along with Kanika, we are also in isolation.”
However, soon after Rajiv’s interview, Kanika spoke to the news agency on telephone and said, “I attended a small get together on March 13. My father can't say this that I attended three parties. I tried my level best not to contaminate others. Throughout the past week, we were all wearing gloves.”
