Varun’s announcement comes after Akshay Kumar donated Rs 25 crore to PM-Cares Fund making his contribution the biggest ever by a celebrity in these tough times during the Coronavirus outbreak.
The country is in a 21-day lockdown which has put daily wage earners in severe crisis. To tide over these difficulties and to provide the basic amenities to people these funds have been created and we must say our celebs are doing their bit to help the Government in this tough time.
