Like many Bollywood celebrities Aamir Khan too has pledged his support in the fight against the deadly and novel Coronavirus outbreak in the country. Aamir has donated to PM Narendra Modi’s PM CARES Fund as well as Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund. He has also extended monetary help to daily wage earners involved in the making of his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. However, he chose not to make his contribution public. The news of his donation was shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Twitter.
Before Aamir, several Bollywood celebrities have come forward to extend financial aid to the government in battling the crisis posed by the Coronavirus pandemic. Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Rohit Shetty, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and several others have already donated to PM Modi’s PM CARES Fund and state relief funds.

Bollywood celebs have been lending applaud worthy efforts to spread awareness about COVID-19 and urging people to stay at home and practice self-isolation, self-quarantine and social-distancing. They have also come up with songs and short clips to urge people to not lose hope in this crisis.
