'It is a big relief,' says Kanika Kapoor's brother Anurag as she returns home after recovering from COVID-19

Kanika Kapoor is back home after recovering from COVID-19. After testing positive for COVID-19 five times in a row, she was finally tested negative on April 4, 2020. She first tested positive for the novel and deadly Coronavirus on March 20. She was put under self-isolation at the Sanjay Gandhi PGIMS where she was undergoing strict medical treatment. After three positive tests, Kanika was tested negative twice after which she was discharged from the hospital. 

An entertainment website spoke with her brother, Anurag to know more about the current situation. "Yes, Kanika is back. We all are very happy. She is doing fine now," said the singer's brother. 

Anurag was asked if Kanika has been advised some precautions and he said, "No, none. She is absolutely fine." Anurag also told how none of the people, who came in contact with Kanika, before she was tested for COVID-19, have tested positive for it. "We are glad Kanika has recovered. It is a big relief to everyone in the family. We were extremely worried. Thank god for her safety," added Anurag.

Kanika had contacted COVID-19 while in London and arrived in India on March 9.
