Akshay Kumar's and Jackky Bhagnani's song ‘Muskurayega India’ transcends boundaries, gets a special rendition in sign language

Earlier this week, Muskurayega India an initiative spearheaded by Akshay Kumar and Jackky Bhagnani was released. And while the PM lauded the film fraternity’s this effort to raise everyone’s spirit in these crucial times, the song has been very well received by various segments of the society. Instilling hope and a feeling of unity, now Muskrayega India has been picked by a group called Indian Singing Hands to create a special cover for those with special needs.

This special cover has been rendered in sign language in order to reach out to those with hearing disabilities. With an aim to reach out to all communities, it is a great effort for the song being created to inspire those who cannot resort to other means of entertainment like the rest. In order to curb the fear that has been amongst people due to the outbreak of the pandemic, Jjust music and Cape of Good Films came up with this song, in order to promote a spirit of hope amongst everyone.

The idea behind creating this inspirational single was that all the revenue generated from it would be donated towards the PM-Cares and Maharashtra CM Relief Fund. Popular celebrities like Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Siddharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Ananya Pandey, Taapsee Pannu, Shikhar Dhawan and Rakul Preet Singh shot their portions from home, the song has been composed by Vishal Mishra.
