'Insensitive people are the worst criminals,' says Ajay Devgn expressing disgust on violence against doctors amid Coronavirus crisis

The rapid spread of Coronavirus has sent the world into a state of worry and panic. With cases of the novel COVID-19 multiplying at an alarming rate, the battle against it is getting tougher each day. While the Central and State Governments in India have imposed a complete lockdown in the country asking people to stay home, doctors, nurses, Policemen and other essential services staff are on their toes, leading the fight against Coronavirus at the forefront. However, in an unfortunate situation, doctors who are at maximum risk, are facing hatred and attacks by those who assume them to be the carriers of the virus. Medical officials, instead of receiving respect from people, are subjected to violence. As they continue to fight a number of battles, Ajay Devgn expressed his disgust on the violence.

Ajay, on Twitter yesterday, condemned the attacks on doctors by those who are living with baseless assumptions. The actor was disgusted by the fact that medical workers are slammed by 'educated' people. He further said that the insensitive ones are the worst criminals. "DISGUSTED & ANGRY to read reports of “educated” persons attacking doctors in their neighbourhood on baseless assumptions. Such insensitive people are the worst criminals," Ajay wrote.
