It is not unknown that Taapsee Pannu has bagged her third film with Anurag Kashyap. Unlike their last film together titled Manmarziyaan, their latest film is a supernatural thriller and both Anurag and Taapsee claimed that they were excited to work on it. In fact, at the time of confirmation, Taapsee revealed that various stories were being discussed for a long time and the story of this film received a positive nod from everyone. The 31-year-old actress had also said she is excited to explore the genre of a supernatural thriller as she hasn't touched upon it in Hindi films as yet.
However, all their plans went for a downhill due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and we now hear that the film, which was earlier touted be shot at spots in Thailand and Mauritius, will now be set in India. In fact, not just closer, the makers are looking for a more quick approach to the film as it will be Taapsee's first film to roll once the lockdown is over. A leading daily quoted a source as saying, "The story is not dependent on the milieu, so the makers are considering changing the backdrop. Anurag and his team are figuring out possible locations in the country. The script will undergo minor tweaks once the backdrop is finalised." It added, "We aren't sure when the project will go on floors, but the team is hoping to set the ball rolling by August."
Well, time will only tell how things will move ahead.
Workwise, Taapsee also has schedules of Rashmi Rocket and Shabaash Mithu in the pipeline.
