‘Friend, inspiration and the greatest actor of our times,’ say Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn as they pay tribute to actor Irrfan

Actor par-excellence Irrfan breathed his last in the wee hours of the morning today. He was 53 years old. The news of his demise sent shockwaves in the industry as well as amongst the millions of his fans. Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, John Abraham, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Anupam Kher, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Farhan Akhtar, Riteish Deshmukh, Anurag Kashyap, Arjun Rampal, Anil Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Dharmendra and several stars took to social media to offer their heartfelt grief on the acclaimed actor’s sudden death.

Occasional meetings with Irrfan were always affectionate.I use to pray for his health since I heard about his illness.Saddened to hear of his untimely death. My heartfelt condolences to the family. May god give them strength during this painful time.
