Rishi Kapoor passed away at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai at the age of 67 today morning. He fought a long battle with cancer. Yesterday, his brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed to a news agency that the actor had been taken to hospital in the morning as he was not keeping well. The actor complained of breathing problem on Wednesday morning and was later diagnosed with mild fever and symptomatic chest infection. Rishi's wife Neetu Kapoor was by his side in the hospital. 

Bollywood is shocked to hear this news and his friends from the industry are mourning over his demise. Now, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Vicky Kaushal, and Shahid Kapoor have expressed their grief on Twitter. 

This is unreal and unbelievable. Yesterday Irrfan Khan and today Rishi Kapoor ji. It's hard to accept this as a legend passes away today. My condolences to the family and may his soul rest in peace

Absolutely shattered and heart broken to wake up to the news of the loss of Rishi Kapoor Ji, one of the liveliest persons amongst us. The last time when I met him in NY, he was fighting the battle like a boss, with Neetu Ma’m by his side and a smile on his face. This is utterly tragic and incomprehensible. My condolences to Ranbir, Neetu Ma’m and the entire family. May his soul be resting in peace and raising a toast to a life well lived with the Gods in heaven.
