Bollywood, in the past two days, has been sailing through tough times and blackest days in the history of cinema. As we all were coming to terms with Irrfan's untimely death yesterday, yet another shocking news came in knocking at the doorstep. Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who was diagnosed with cancer, breathed his last in Mumbai today. Soon after the shocking piece of information broke out, Bollywood along with renowned politicians of the country expressed grief.
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on Twitter wrote, "Multifaceted, endearing and lively...this was Rishi Kapoor Ji. He was a powerhouse of talent. I will always recall our interactions, even on social media. He was passionate about films and India’s progress. Anguished by his demise. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti."
