In a career spanning several decades, Rishi Kapoor worked in numerous films with more than 50 leading ladies, but he directed only one film. Aa Ab Laut Chalein was his directorial debut through which he tried to resurrect his father Raj Kapoor’s production banner RK Films. The film starred Akshaye Khanna and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead.
Aishwarya, in an emotional and fitting tribute, has bid goodbye to Rishi in a heartfelt social media post. Sharing a couple of pictures with Rishi, Neetu Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan she wrote an immensely moving post. She captioned the images as, “So much love for you...and from you my dearest Chintu uncle...ALWAYS... so heartbroken...May your Soul Rest in Peace God Bless There will never be another... just TOO SPECIAL.. and the memories... Precious... Miss you and Love you Forever...”
On the other hand, Deepika Padukone was moved way beyond words and expression. She shared a blank post on her social media account and just wrote, “#rishikapoor.” Deepika and Rishi were supposed to work together in the Hindi adaptation of the Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro film The Intern. Rishi had already signed the film and after his cancer treatment was supposed to start shoot for the film, but looks like that dream will remain a dream for Deepika.
RIP Rishi Kapoor, you will be forever missed!
