It's been three days since Bollywood's original chocolate boy and a quintessential romantic hero Rishi Kapoor passed away. He was 67 years old and was admitted to Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital around 3 weeks ago and passed away on April 30 at 8.45 am. The entire nation is coping up with the loss and remembering the veteran actor who left behind an indelible mark in the world of showbiz. Amid this, a picture of his wedding invitation has been doing the rounds of social media platforms. Rishi married his Khel Khel Mein co-star Neetu Kapoor (nee Singh) in 1980.
The wedding card of Rishi and Neetu was sans the bling. It was a simple printed invite with the standard RK Studios logo and minimal text that gave out only the important details. Rishi and Neetu got married on January 23, 1980.
Rishi, in 2018, was diagnosed with leukemia and was in the US for the treatment with Neetu. A number of Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Abhishek Bachchan, Malaika Arora-Arjun Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and others paid them regular visits. Rishi and Neetu returned to Mumbai in September last year. The Bobby actor is survived by his wife Neetu, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and son Ranbir Kapoor.
