Neetu Kapoor expresses gratitude towards Rishi Kapoor's medical team, says, 'they treated my husband like he was their own'

Bollywood's favourite chocolate boy and charming romantic hero Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67. The actor who was admitted to Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital around 3 weeks ago, was diagnosed with leukemia in 2018. He breathed his last on April 30 at 8.45 am. Now, four days later, his wife Neetu Kapoor penned a heartfelt gratitude note for the veteran actor's medical team.

Neetu, on Instagram, this morning, thanked each and every person associated with Rishi's medical treatment. "As a family we have a deep sense of loss.. when we sit together and look back at the past few months what we also feel is immense gratitude - gratitude towards the doctors at HN reliance hospital! The whole team of doctors, brothers and nurses headed by Dr Tarang Gianchandani treated my husband like he was their own - they advised us like we were their own.. and for all that and more I thank them from the bottom of my heart," Neetu wrote while sharing a picture of the Bobby actor.

Rishi was cremated at the Chandanwadi Crematorium with a few family members and friends in attendance. The family immersing his ashes in Banganga Tank in Mumbai yesterday and held a prayer meet too. Rishi is survived by his wife Neetu, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and son Ranbir Kapoor.

Rishi's last film Sharmaji Namkeen is yet to be released and he had signed the Hindi remake of The Intern with Deepika Padukone.
