Bollywood, last week, lost two of its rare gems Irrfan and Rishi Kapoor to cancer in quick succession. The former passed away on April 29 and the veteran actor breathed his last the very next day. Shocked and numbed, B-Town celebrities, as well as fans, are yet to come to terms with the loss. Ever since the news broke out, tributes and condolences are pouring out on social media platforms as we all remember the legends. Amitabh Bachchan, who was Rishi's best friend and a frequent co-star, was devastated by his demise and paid a heartfelt tribute to him during a fundraiser concert. Titled I For India, the concert was held on Facebook yesterday night and the megastar recalled fond memories of Rishi.
Mr. Bachchan, in a video message, spoke about meeting the Chandni actor for the first time and said his walk reminded him of his grandfather late Prithviraj Kapoor. Talking about his 102 Not Out co-star, he recalled the time when Rishi was diagnosed with leukemia but he never lamented his condition. Mr. Bachchan further gushed about his innate acting talent and admired the fact that he would lipsync songs perfectly. Touching upon his wit and cheerful attitude, Mr. Bachchan revealed Rishi would always find a comic spark in grave situations to lighten up the atmosphere.
