The world celebrated Mother's Day yesterday by showering love, respect and gratitude towards their mothers. Be it planning a sweet surprise for them or recalling precious moments spent with them, it was a day of all things endearing. B-Town celebrities too left no stone unturned to make their moms feel special. Joining the brigade was Shahid Kapoor. The actor walked down the memory lane as a gesture to thank his mother Neliima Azeem.
The collection of pictures featured some of his childhood clicks with Neliima. In one of the pictures, we can see baby Shahid dressed in an oversized T-Shirt posing for the camera as Neliima can't stop looking at her darling with admiration. The Kabir Singh actor also shared a picture of Neliima performing Kathak.
On the other hand, Shahid's wife Mira Rajput, on her Instagram, shared a throwback picture from the hospital a day after their son Zain Kapoor's birth. Planting a kiss on his beloved wife's cheek, the picture is cute beyond words. "#throwback to the coolest birthday party with a day old Zainu and being smothered by a questionably dressed Huz," wrote Mira while sharing the picture.

Shahid and Mira tied the knot on July 7, 2015, and welcomed their daughter Misha Kapoor on August 26, 2016, and son Zain on September 5, 2018.
