Biopic on cricketers has always been a fascinating topic for filmmakers. With films based on former Indian cricket team captains Mahendra Singh Dhoni (M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story) and Sachin Tendulkar (Sachin: A Billion Dreams) attaining commercial as well as a critical success, fans of the current captain Virat Kohli are eagerly waiting to watch his journey on the silver screen. Virat, who made it big after years of struggle enjoys a massive fan following.
Talking about his own biopic and acting in it too, the 31-year-old Padma Shri recipient, during an Instagram live with Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri, told that he would agree to face the camera only if his wife, actress Anushka Sharma is his leading lady.
Speaking of Anushka's influence on his life, Virat credited her for teaching him to be compassionate. He also mentioned that he was a self-centered person before she entered his life. On meeting Anushka, Virat said he realised life isn't all about himself. "I wasn't this person always. I truly believe that everyone has a giving and compassionate side to them but there is always an individual that comes in your life who brings it out. For me, meeting Anushka was that moment when I started to realise that this is not all about me. Life is to look at another person and live like that," Virat said.
Virat and Anushka tied the knot on December 11, 2017, in a private affair in Italy.
