India, for the past two months, is fighting against Coronavirus. With stringent lockdown rules, venturing out of the house has become an uphill task. However, as the nation entered into the fourth phase of the lockdown, the Government relaxed a few rules for the convenience of the citizens. As per the guidelines laid by the Ministry of Home Affairs, inter-state travel by road is now permitted and those allowed to do so, are requested to remain home quarantined for 14 days. Making the most of this relaxation, Pooja Bedi and her fiance Maneck Contractor drove down to Goa.
Pooja, who is actress Alaya F's and Omar Furniturewala's mother, on her Twitter handle today, informed that Maneck and she are now at their home in Goa. She further mentioned that they are following the rules stated by the Government by home-quarantining themselves. In addition, she said that the entire process of testing, border control, etc 'cannot become an acceptable way of life'. “Drove back with fiancee maneck to our home in #Goa . (He's goan. My home, car & business are all goa registered) The entire process of border control/ #COVID19 testing & the condition of quarantine facility was an experience that simply CANNOT become an acceptable way of life,” Pooja wrote in her tweet.

Apart from Pooja, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who travelled from Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh with his family amid the lockdown with necessary permission, is now under home quarantine for 14 days. The actor confirmed the same with a tweet stating, "Due to the recent loss of my younger sister, my mother who is 71yrs old got anxiety attack twice. We have followed all the guidelines given by the State Government. We are #HomeQuarantined at our hometown Budhana."

Speaking of Pooja and Maneck, the two got engaged on Valentine’s Day last year and plan to get married this year.
