Salman Khan, much before the nationwide lockdown was announced on March 24, headed to his Panvel farmhouse with sister Arpita Khan Sharma and her family, mother Salma Khan along with a couple of industry friends like Jacqueline Fernandez, Waluscha De Sousa amongst others. Salman's father Salim Khan and brothers Arbaaz-Sohail didn't accompany the group to Panvel and stayed back in Mumbai. The superstar, without any panic, decided to be at the farmhouse amid the crisis and kept entertaining his fans with music videos. While Arpita, her kids and Salma returned to Mumbai post the Ministry of Home Affairs permitted inter-state travel by road with due permission, Salman opted to be in Panvel till the situation returns to normalcy.
However, in the latest development, Salman, after staying in Panvel for nearly 60 days, reportedly drove down to Mumbai to meet his parents. The superstar who has been urging people to follow guidelines laid by the Government, is said to have taken necessary permissions and observed social distancing rules for his fleeting visit to the city. According to a leading daily's report, Salman, who was constantly in touch with his parents through video calls, dropped in to ensure that the relief work his father is overlooking is progressing ahead smoothly. After staying at home for a few hours, Salman reportedly drove back to Panvel in the evening.
Workwise, Salman's Eid 2020 release Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is delayed due to the lockdown. According to reports, 8-10 days of shoot is pending followed by the post-production work. The film is directed by Prabhudeva and stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff.
