Bollywood and TV actor Mohit Baghel who started his career in showbiz with the comedy show Chote Miyan, has passed away due to cancer. He was only 27 years old. The news of his demise was confirmed by writer and director Raaj Shaandilya. Raaj took to Twitter to post a heartfelt message on Mohit's death. According to media reports, Mohit's health deteriorated at around 10 am and when his family members took him to a hospital in Noida, the hospital did not admit him due to Coronavirus. Mohit's family members have alleged that if the hospital had admitted him in time he would have survived.
Raaj wrote, "Mohit, my brother what was the hurry to go? I had told you that the entire industry has stopped for you, you get well and then we'd start shooting. You act very well, and that's why I will wait for you on the sets of our next film, and you would have to come."

Raaj, who made his directorial debut with Ayushmann Khurrana's Dream Girl had signed Mohit for his upcoming film. Mohit had worked with Raaj as a child artist in Comedy Circus and regarded him as his mentor. Mohit had also worked with Salman Khan and Asin in the film Ready where he played the role of Chote Amar Chaudhary. He was also seen in Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer Jabariya Jodi.
The news of Mohit's demise has left Bollywood celebs in shock. Parineeti and Sidharth Malhotra also expressed their grief over his untimely and sudden death. Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures also paid a tribute to the actor.

Mohit was from Mathura and had worked in several Bollywood films. He was battling cancer for a long time and was undergoing treatment in Noida and several other places. He breathed his last at him home in Mathura.
