Ever since the nationwide lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic was announced, Salman Khan is leaving no stone unturned to do his bit for the society. From financial assistance to providing meals for the needy, the superstar's philanthropic self is winning hearts. Similarly, Salman, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr yesterday, distributed food kits to 5,000 underprivileged families. Each special kit contained all the ingredients needed to prepare Eid delicacy Sheer Korma for 50 people. Informing about Salman's generous gesture, Shiv Sena leader Rahul Kanal, on his Twitter account, shared pictures of the kits placed in a van. The Eid kits were distributed under Salman's special initiative named Being Haangryy.

Talking about Being Haangryy, Salman converted the van used for his film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai into a food truck that ensures the less-privileged get proper meals amid the lockdown. The truck is navigating around Mumbai and is providing ration to the needy.
