Renowned astrologer Bejan Daruwalla passed away today due to lung infection at a hospital in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar at the age of 89 years.
Daruwalla was put on ventilator at a private hospital after he complained of breathing difficulty. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani took to Twitter to express his grief over the famous astrologer’s demise.

Reportedly, his son had confirmed on Sunday that astrologer had been suffering from pneumonia and lung infection, and the oxygen level in his body had dipped.
Daruwalla had predicted election victories of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Morarji Desai and Narendra Modi and even the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi. Daruwalla was born in July 1931 and was a known Ganesha devotee who combined the principles of various techniques like Vedic astrology, Numerology, Palmistry, I-Ching, Tarot, Kabalah and even Western astrology for his predictions.
