Music composer and singer Wajid Khan bid adieu to the world during the wee hours of Monday morning. Known for his work with brother Sajid Khan, Wajid breathed his last at the age of 42. He was admitted to Surana Sethia hospital in Chembur for more than two and also underwent a kidney transplant. However, in the last 10 days, his health deteriorated due to his heart ailment and was infected with Coronavirus three days ago. Wajid's brother Sajid informed a media agency that the former passed away after a cardiac arrest.
Since the time the news broke, Bollywood celebrities are pouring in condolences through social media. Salman Khan, who regularly collaborated with Sajid-Wajid for his films, paid tribute on Twitter. The superstar who has been working with the music director duo for over 2 decades now, wrote, "Salman Khan mourned the demise of music composer and singer Wajid Khan. "Wajid Vil always love, respect, remember n miss u as a person n ur talent, Love u n may your beautiful soul rest in peace ..."

Salman and Sajid-Wajid teamed up for films like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hello Brother, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Tere Naam, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Partner, Veer, Wanted, Dabangg, Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2 and Dabangg 3. Their last outing with the superstar was Bhai Bhai which was released on the occasion of Eid.
