Sushant Singh Rajput found hanging by friends, maid who broke open his door

Off the record, it is being said that Sushant Singh Rajput who was found hanging at his Bandra residence this morning, was in severe depression for the past six months. The actor, 34, was at home with some friends when he took the extreme step. Finding him missing, and when he did not open his bedroom door, they broke it open and found Sushant hanging.

Sushant, whose next film Dil Bechara just got an OTT release on Disney +Hotstar, reportedly did not leave a suicide note and all kinds of rumours are flying about why he took this extreme step. With his shocking passing away, Bollywood notches another tragic death during the lockdown after Irrfan and Rishi Kapoor in April.
Senior police officers rushed to the actor’s residence as soon as the news of Sushant’s suicide spread. The maid is reported to have told the police that the actor sounded depressed yesterday when he called her.

In a strange coincidence, the actor’s former manager Disha Salian also died under mysterious circumstances last week. Sushant’s last film Chhichhore, a comedy drama by Nitesh Tiwari that released last September, also had student suicide in its storyline. Police investigations into his suicide are on.
