Anupam Kher, who played the role of Sushant Singh Rajput's father in the film 2016 MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, has reacted to the news of Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic suicide at his home in Bandra.

Anupam shared a video on Instagram where he has talked about loneliness and the importance of having good mental health. Anupam also talked about how devastated he feels and further stated about how Sushant's parents and loved ones must be feeling. He shared the importance of having friends and someone to talk to and asked people to check on their loved ones regularly. The actor talked about how the lockdown and Coronavirus have affected people and that we should not be rude to each other. He broke down in the video and requested people to help each other.

He captioned the 5-minute long IGTV video, " : Very difficult to describe #SushantSinghRajput’s death in words!! And yet this probably is one of my longest IGTV videos. Sushant was born in Patna. He is survived by his two sisters and father, Dr KK Singh. Sushant lost his mother in 2002 when he was only 16 years old.
