John Abraham and Milap Zaveri resume work on 'Satyameva Jayate 2' after three months, film to go on floors in August

After three months of complete lockdown, Bollywood has finally resumed work this week while following necessary guidelines laid by the Government and film bodies. John Abraham and Milap Zaveri, who have teamed up for the second installment of Satyameva Jayate, met each other to restart pending work on the thriller. The director, on Instagram, shared a picture with his 'Hulk' John delighting their fans. Talking to a leading daily about the reunion after three long months, Milap told that he narrated the action sequences and punchlines that he reworked on during the lockdown. He also said that in the two-hour-long meeting, the duo discussed the work-in-progress posters and listened to a patriotic song suggested by producer Bhushan Kumar. 

"I have reworked the action scenes and punch-lines during the lockdown and narrated them to John. I also showed him some work-in-progress posters and listened to one patriotic song that Bhushanji has given us for the film. Producer Bhushan, during an interview with the leading daily, said that the cast and crew of Satyameva Jayate 2 will be ready by August and taking all safety guidelines into consideration, the team will fix a proper date to begin the first schedule. "SMJ 2 is a film we are all excited about since the beginning. Milap met John and they worked together on the scenes and dialogue. We are expecting the cast and crew to be ready to shoot by August. My co-producers, Nikkhil and Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani are also working with the team to ensure everyone strictly adheres to the safety guidelines laid down by film bodies and the government. We will fix a date for the schedule soon," Bhushan said.

As per the report, Satyameva Jayate 2 was to go on floors April 10 in Mumbai with a 90 days shoot schedule. However, now the number of days remains the same but the location is yet to be decided. The team is said to finalise it by June end.
