It's been two weeks since Sushant Singh Rajput's death by suicide. The actor, 34, was said to be in depression for six months before taking the drastic step. While family, friends and fans are yet to cope up with the loss, Nana Patekar visited Sushant's Patna residence to offer condolence.
Nana, who is in Patna on a three-day visit for a CRPF programme, met Sushant's family including his father KK Singh and elder sisters. The veteran actor was clicked at Sushant's Patna residence on Sunday afternoon.
Before Nana, several politicians visited Sushant's family to offer condolences. On June 19, Union Minister of Law & Justice, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology Minister of India, Ravi Shankar Prasad headed to Sushant's Patna residence to offer condolence. On June 22, Bharatiya Janata Party MP and Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari also visited the family.
The Mumbai police are currently investigating Sushant's suicide case. Sushant's last film Dil Bechara will be streaming for free on Disney+Hotstar on July 24. Directed by Mukesh Chhabra, the film also stars Sanjana Sanghi. However, his ardent fans are requesting the producers to go for a theatrical release. Currently, all cinema halls are shut due to Coronavirus pandemic and the government is yet to take a decision regarding reopening them.
