Bollywood's beloved dance guru, Saroj Khan, on July 3, breathed her last after suffering a massive cardiac arrest. The veteran choreographer, 72, left behind an unmatched legacy in the history of dance. While the film industry is mourning the irreplaceable loss, Masterji's daughter Sukaina Khan told a leading daily that her frequent collaborators, friends and students like Madhuri Dixit, Subhash Ghai, Jackie Shroff, Govinda and others were in constant touch when she wasn't keeping well. Sukaina added that when they got to know about Masterji's demise, they all were 'shell shocked'.
"Everybody was in touch. Madhuri ma’am, Subhash ji, Jackie ji, Govinda sir, everybody kept calling her up and called me too. They would ask me about her health and how she was doing. When they heard the news, they were all shell shocked like we were. We didn’t expect something like this coming our way," Sukaina told.
Sukaina, during an interview with another daily, revealed that Salman Khan was there for the family whenever they needed the most. She also mentioned that the superstar provided help for her son's heart surgery last. "Salman Khan stood by us like a rock and helped her till the end. They were on very good terms and he even stepped in for my son’s heart surgery last year in Kerala. He was there for us when we needed the most," Sukaina added.
Saroj Khan's last Bollywood choreography was Madhuri's Tabaah Ho Gaye from Kalank in 2019.
