As Bollywood was coming to terms with the loss of ace choreographer Saroj Khan, the news of veteran comedian Jagdeep's demise on July 8 sent all into mourning. Born as Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffrey, he was best remembered for his illustrious work in cinema as a fine comedian. Better known by his stage name, Jagdeep immortalised the character of Soorma Bhopali in Sholay. Soon after the news of his demise broke, Bollywood celebrities offered condolences.
