Soha Ali Khan reveals daughter Inaaya tries to copy cousin Taimur, says, 'she wants to be faster than him'

On July 11, daughter of Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu-Inaaya Naumi Kemmu and son of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan-Taimur Ali Khan met each other amid lockdown and spent a day dressed as Batman. Wearing Batman's cowl and suit, the cousins looked absolutely endearing and made hearts melt. A picture of Inaaya and Taimur was shared by Soha on Instagram. The actress and Inaaya's doting mother, during an interview with a leading daily, revealed that her daughter listens to Taimur a lot. Gushing over their sweet sibling bond, Soha said Inaaya tries to copy Taimur and wants to be faster than him.

"We want Taimur and Inaaya to spend time with each other, they have to interact with kids their age. Inaaya is two-and-a-half years old and Taimur is just nine months older than her. Under normal circumstances, they would have been going to school and learning from their classmates. But, since that’s not possible, we decided to have a family reunion and luckily, we all stay close by. Inaaya listens to Taimur a lot, she tries to copy whatever he does and wants to be faster than him. As they say, when you have an older sibling, you try and learn faster," Soha said.

While Soha and her brother Saif stay close to each other, their mother Sharmila Tagore is in Delhi. Talking about her safety and well-being, Soha said although the veteran actress stays alone, she has a good staff to take care of. Informing that the mother-daughter duo is in constant touch via video call, Soha told, "She stays alone, but thankfully, we have excellent staff at home, who has been working with us for years. We are constantly in touch via messages and do video calls on alternate days. She can lie about her health while messaging, but video calls pe sab sach dikhta hai. I want to go and see her, but I can’t leave Inaaya or travel with her. I am torn between my daughter and my mother. My mom calms me down, though. The thing with that generation is that they are very strong and take everything in their stride."
