Akshay Kumar featured in a public service announcement video wherein he joined a bevy of people who reminded everyone to wear face masks when out in public before stepping out of their house. However, it appears that he did not take into account the brickbats he might get from his own household on wearing ‘pretty, floral, freshly-washed’ mask that actually belongs to his wife Twinkle Khanna. Twinkle hilariously trolled him on social media and called him out for stealing it for the video.
The video starts with different people saying ‘idiot’ in their respective mother tongues. Later on Akshay appears on the screen to explain what is happening and he says, “Agar aap nahi chahte ki aap har bharatiya bhasha mein gaali khayein ya phir koi aapko buri baat kahe, toh chup-chaap iss mask ka istemaal karein (If you do not want to get abused in every Indian language or be told off by someone, please use a face mask).”

He then goes on to don the floral mask of Twinkle’s. Akshay shared the video with the tweet, “Go about your life normally but follow the #safenormal. @drjagannath.”
